Learning a new language is not just about books and classrooms, it is about making language acquisition a part of your everyday life, so with that in mind, Web Spanish created a place where our students and guests can relax and watch “random” Spanish lessons on a wide variety of topics and learn about interesting news stories from the Spanish speaking world.  We update these every week, and invite you to visit us whenever you are in the mood, and have the time. The Spanish video lessons were shot mainly on the streets of Lima, Peru, and we have kept these as spontaneous and practical as possible in the hope that they will teach you new vocabulary and Spanish grammar just as if you were traveling here. We also provide you with a recorded transcription of current events, reworked so that even basic level students can understand them. We hope that these segments will help you practice your listening comprehension, and help you pick up some new vocabulary while you learn about the current events that are shaping the Spanish-speaking world.

Web Spanish is an online Spanish school which is headquartered in Lima, Peru. Web Spanish has provided Spanish instruction online since 2005 and grew out of the El Sol Spanish immersion school founded in 2001.
At Web Spanish, we spend a lot of time thinking about the language learning process and how new, low-cost technologies are reshaping the way people learn; it is an exciting time to be involved in distance education and we hope that this blog and our online Spanish reflect our passion for teaching.
