This week’s news story proudly states that Peru is one of the 15 countries with the most prehistoric art in the world. Unfortunately, the authorities have yet to put forth the efforts to conserve many of these sites that hold amazing examples of prehistoric art and cave paintings. The creation of the Peruvian Association of Prehistoric Art is a step in the right direction in promoting awareness and showing the importance of conserving these works of art.
